I'm jealous Moose! I've looked at the mini-14 for years and always bought something else. Good little ranch carbine,shoots the 223 ammo and the bolt and operating mechanism is similar to my M1 Garands. Wally World still has em at a fairly decent price(if they aren't all gone by now),but if I drug another rifle home the old woman would beat me over the head with it. OPT

 

Gun control isn't about guns, it's about people control.

These nutjobs keep picking on gun free zones because they know they can do a lot of damage. They're nothing but cowards.

 

Banning them would only mean the law-abiding citizen is without and the criminal is with.

 

Clinton's "assault weapon" ban lasted ten years and did absolutely no good. Now they're trying to reinstate it and make it even worse. If Pelosi gets her way there will be no grandfather clause so all the AR15s and similar guns that people are buying now will be confiscated without any form of compensation. Obama wanted this from day one but it took a tragedy and media attention to whip people up into a frenzy. They're all thinking with their emotions instead of being reasonable.

I got an email from Biden's press secretary today and there was a video from Obama. He's trying to ram an assault weapons ban through next month. Biden will be handling this since he wrote the ban of 1994. I doesn't look good. The Democrats are trying to pass the ban without a grandfather clause so all the AR15s people bought in the last week will be illegal and confiscated just like mine.

 

I won't turn mine in voluntarily.
