The boat owner didn't break the "stay in" order. The police had searched the area but the bomber had managed to slip through the line. After the line of police went through they lifted the "stay in" order and people began to move around. The woman went out to her backyard and noticed blood either on the boat cover, the shed, or both. She immediately called the police and they came back into that neighborhood. As soon as the police lifted the cover of the boat there was a gunfight. They moved back for a while and then it looked like they were lobbing flash bangs towards him to disorient him. A hostage negotiator showed up on scene and shortly after that he gave up. Not sure if the negotiator had anything to do with it or not.

Good thing the guy with the backyard and boat was not some NRA hardcore member or they could of had no suspect to question once he gets out of the hospital.

Here is a pic of the little punk a$s squired away.

Here was the Boston response for this 19 year old goof.

Up to 9,000 law enforcement personnel are in Boston presently, to apprehend one suspect

- Dozens of SWAT Teams have been deployed

- Multiple bomb squads in play making ‘controlled detonations’ of suspect packages

- Teams of sniffer dogs have been deployed for house to house searches in the wider urban area

– Public transport has been shut down until further notice

- Use of Taxis restricted

- Access to hospital facilities have been restricted

- Banks are closed

- Major professional and sporting events all canceled

- Police have commandeered areas of town as staging areas

- Tanks have been deployed to Watertown as part of the police’s operation

When the smoke clears and boston gets the bills, they may make some changes for next time.

Good thing the boat owner broke the "stay indoor curfew" and when out in his backyard or nobody would of know he was hiding back there.
Good point, Yes and no.
The lock down was of the general area not all of Boston, Logan airport and the ferries were still running. Considering these 2 punks tried to inflict maximum human damage at the marathon, excuited one cop and shot the other, jacked a car and were throwing bombs out of the windows. It would be silly not to lock down regions.
Just a thought, was the lock down to protect civilians or the bomber? I wonder what the out come would of been If he was found in a public area with crowds?

All that plus helicopters and all sorts of tanks, armored vehicles, full auto weapons, etc, etc, etc.... and libs think I shouldn't have a 30 round magazine to defend myself against a home invasion
