Torque Wrench
#1
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to get one. I was looking at all the bolts with specs, and there area lot. For example, do you all torque your plug? I saw in the manual that 1/4 to 1/2 trns past and tight is a good estimate, but t said that this is only temporary

You're right those specs are there fo a reason. The wheel lug nuts are some of the most commonly replaced/removed & they call for a rather low torque as I learned from experience..I let a friend help (?) me change tires once. He was only 14 but he twisted one stud off the hub. I couldn't get mad at him cuz he didn't know that Warriors only call fo 32 f/p, & neither did I at the time.
Sears makes an excellent digital torquer in 1/2" drive with both ft lbs & metric. Comes with a hard plastic case & full instructions.

-I need it to be 1/2 inch. That digital torque wrench sounds cool, but I am currently low on cash. So, If I get something, it should have a lifetime warranty(i doubt the digital components are)
-Also, My friend's ride has larger diameter studs on the wheel hub (I think they're called hubs) Is there a way to mount wheels that have smaller holes onto this hub?
Thanks for the help, I'm currently building up my workshop, but can only afford the necessities.
