It's really hard to tell the difference (which I would choose personally) between the Chevy and the Ford. Both awesome trucks that make great power. the Ford making more power and the Chevy more luxury. ive heard of problems with both and only seen real life problems with the Ford but man is it close. From word of mouth Ford and chevy and i think dodge are supposed to all come together to build a heavyduty transmission that should rain supreme, anyone hear about this as well? that would be the utlimate right there.

HA2, I agree i see more Older Chevys on the road. Dont let um fool you either, just because the body dont look all that great there might be a beast under the hood! I was at my local wal-mart one time and i saw a POS '83 Silverado and i was walkin up to it and the hood was off!!! So i went to pass by it and a brand spankin new small block chevy chromed out was sittin in it. I was like what in the hell, POS truck with a brand new engine!!!

Its all in what you want in a truck. The chevy is more luxury than the others, but i dont think it is as much of a work truck. The new 6.0L fords are having all kinds of problems, but when they do run, they are supposed to be fast, and powerful, and the dodge may not be hardly as fast as the ford stock, but in my opinion, it will pull right with it, and will last longer. You can check my picture gallery to see what i drive(or will drive when i get my permit in november). They are probably all good trucks, but for a diesel, i will take a dodge, and for a gas i will take a chevy.
