I read a memo from camelback saying they do NOT support the Sierra Club...I'm sure its a lie, but thats what they said...My camelback is the best piece of equipment I carry.

I used to have a couple of camelbaks, but after reading the article about them supporting the Sierra Club. They do all their sponsoring and a lot of their ads thru the Sierra Club's magazines and articles. I trashed mine and went with Moose hyrdo systems.

They were asked why they didn't have ads in off-road mags, they refused to answer. I say to hell with them. I refuse to use em.

I notice that a lot of the comments are from riders here in the arid Southwest. Water is life and death out here!! It's not like some places, where in an emergency you could just drink out of a stream. Mostly, there are no streams.

I always ride with a Camelback HAWG (100 oz), a light GoreTex jacket, a couple of energy bars, and the basic Boy Scout 10 essentials.

In 110+ weather I could care less , water and hydration is the key here , how I get it or what I get it from is not important. I could careless who sponsers who.
