My 02 300ex is starting to look alot older than what it is. I've heard of some polishes that are supposed to take out scratches. Has anyone used them, and do the work.

 

i have a 03 300EX and i've heard of some polishes. the one i read about that is considered the best can also be a pain to use. you have to remove all stickers and gralphics, sand the heck out of the plastic toremove the scratches, then put on this chemical that makes the thing all shiny and new looking. go to http://www.paatving.com/Articles/pro...oject400ex.asp it's a section of a website where they r making a project 400EX. in chapter 3 they talk about Plast Renew by PC Racing. they talk about how to put it on and everything.

 

thanks for the info. but it sounds like its alot easier just to get new plastic.
