I rode my dad's cr500r once... ONCE! That thing scared the everliving he!! out of me. Holy crap, if you want power you want a cr500. How much did the 96' weigh?

 

I would love to ride one but I'm a chicken [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] i could barely handle the RT180 I used to have. I'll stick with 4 wheels!

My dad has a cr500 motor stuffed in his 250R frame!!! He's a hillclimber!!! This thing is powerful!!! I tried ridin' it at a drag race and about killed myself!!!! I haven't rode it since.

 

Hey I was wondering if you could tell me how your dad has the engine mounted to teh frame if you could send me a pic or suemthing that woudl b so aswem i am haveing problems with my 250 witha cr500 engine in it because of the vibration thanks scott. if you have thoes pictures thanks again and i think your cool as hell cuz ur pretty adn ride atvs most girls who ride arent as good lookin as yourself.

talk about hard to learn cornering. i've rode bikes since i was five and got my first qaud a few months ago. the first tun i made i leaned my body like i have always done and the dang thing threw me! if you liked the cr500 try a yz450. it has power from start and all the way to the rev limiter. the last dirt i had was a yz426 that i sold to by my quad. the new yz 450 has an auto decompression built in which makes it a lot easier to start.
