I know this is an atv forum and everything but i know many of you own dirtibikes too. Well my question is, should I buy a crf450 for a few hundred more $$ than a yzf426(would have to ship crf but could pick up yzf). Does the crf really have that much more power than the 426 and if so is there a noticable difference on an mx track?

i heard the crf450 requires a rebuild every 20 hrs. not sure of the yamaha

I would try and talk to a few people around your area that have these bikes. Experience dealing with these is always the best for determining what will work for you. I find it hard to believe that a CRF needs a rebuild after 20 hours of use unless it is being used exculsively for racing.
