I ran across this site, "WFO Quads" and I clicked on the "Don't Miss" link. I found a sad story about a guy who didn't wear his helmet. Please everyone go to the link below and find out for yourself what happened. It may change your life forever.http://members.tripod.com/~WFOQuads/.../dontmiss.html

My wife is an Occupational Therapist and works with people that are on this web site all the time. She constantly reminds me of how dangerous our sport is.

I could give you a story like this every week.

Sad as it is, helmets DO save lives. I wear mine all the time. And if any friends come over to ride, they wear a helmet. You ride my quad, you wear a helmet. Plain and simple.

Why people insist on riding these things without helmets is beyond me, I guess they are afraid it might muss their hair up, or they wouldn't look "cool" with one on. In my opinion it is just plain stupid to not wear a helmet while pleasure riding. How many of these stories do these people need to see before they get the point that helmets DO save lives, maybe thier own.

Here is a very sad story. It happened around my area. It was around christmas and this 8 year old boy wanted a dirtbike for christmas so his mom and dad got him one for christmas, they brought it home and his mom got on it to show him how to ride it, well she wrecked and her head landed on the sidewalk and after that she was a vegetable, and a couple of days ago she died... And they said the little boy kept asking when his mommy was coming home... very sad hard to believe a present could kill someone...
