Anyone haul an atv in back of compact pickup
#1
I am purchasing an atv for hunting and am wondering if it will fit in between the wheel wells of my Nissa Fronteir 4x4. I have 41 inches inbetween the wheelwells. I know most atv's are wider than this but I am wondering if anyone has figured away to get the atv over the top of the wheelwells.

I dought if it will fit between,,,,but it will have no problem rolling over them
get a set of aluminum ramps,,so you can drive it right in,,,,,,it'll drive right over the humps (if you are on it) (it is an atv afterall)

no problem rolling over them?
i found the problem with my s10 is you gotta give it so much gas to get over... that its hard to stop before you hit the back window!
i just have a buddy left it over the wells with me lifting and pushing on the back.

Should fit. And as most all Utility atv's are auto/autoclutch you should be able to drive it up and over without too much trouble. I've got a '98 Dakota and my Warrior fit's in perfect between the wells without touching. On the other hand my friend has a '00 S10 and when he puts his DS650 in there, well, it looks like his quad is showing his truck some prison love. It's pretty comical, and it's just a hernia waiting to happen lifting that thing in there.
Good luck,

I almost went through the back window on my 95 Ranger. Went to Home Depot and bought some 2 x 6 (treated) and made a ramp. Starts right at the wheel well. With hardware and all the lumber, cost about 20 bucks.
