Default Storing Quads

Is there any harm in storing a quad or four standing upright? My garage is full and I'm looking for a way to fit another one in. Your thoughts?

I have the same problem, a full garage! It might depend on the individual bike. When we bought our Blaster, they told us to never stand it up (they didn't explain why). Yet, you see all kinds of bikes standing up in the back of puckups all the time. I would inquire at the service department of the dealership. And, get a machanic's opinion.

I used to stand all my hondas on end in the garage. You just have to make sure the gas level is below the cap. I have never had a problem arise because of it (and thats after 14 years of doing so). I will not stand my V-Force up. I now have an enclosed trailer....I love it.

All you have to do is shut your gas off dude. Real easy. Dont have to drain any oil or anything liek that,.

Prior to standing the quad up, start it, turn the fuel peacock off and then let it idle until it runs out of fuel.
