My oil gauge has been showing declining oil pressure over the last 1000-2000 miles. (strong runner I might add)
The needle is about 1/4 over from the left. (it used to be about 1/2-2/3)
I am fairly new to this vehicle and fords in general. Where would you start looking?
1990 bronco 351 efi 150,000 miles
I just figure its a bad/clogged oil pump......
Help!!

You need to run a mechanical oil pressure test. Remove the oil pressure-sending unit and install a mechanical gauge. Almost any repair shop can do this for you. Your Bronco has a "module" behind the instrument cluster that tells the OP and Temp gauge where to point. The needles are not really what is going on. When you turn on the ignition there should be a red engine light, if there is a problem the light will come on. They call these idiot gauges. They are programmed to point where ford wanted them to to make the driver comfortable.

Had a 92 OJ bronco, with the 351, my oil pressure gauge drove me crazy moving up and down.
Normal oil pressure to low pressure.
Just like the post above mine. it was the oil sending unit or the oil pressure deal that the gauge runs off of. it was like 56 dollars to fix, parts and labor

nothing really to add but to comment on the gauges...yes they suck massivly.
but just to kinda remanice....if you want a to keep your mpg up on your broc, dont EVER get ANY engine mods done. I sank about 3k into mine and it wasnt even extreme in any way. No turbo or anything. i went from about 19mpg to 7mpg. It sounded like a drag car when i got it back...literally...it was beautiful...and loud....8-12"s, 3 amps, 2 comp systems...no caps...only a 250amp ambulance alternator under the hood.....God I miss that truck. But i enjoy not having to spend 40 bucks a week to keep gas in it. Id give just about anything to have that truck back, that thing had power like you wouldnt believe. But mine wasnt efi, it was an 87 so it was carb'd. But just to sum up...get new gauges...in the years I had that thing...they were rarely accurate on any measurement.
Sorry to ramble, but I miss my baby.
