I'm finally ordering up some riding gear after years of shorts and sweatpants! What brands are best? Should I expect riding boots to be larger or smaller than I order. I can't decide what size to get because I wear a '9.5' boot, but they only sell 9 and 10. What should I get?

 

I wear a 10.5 shoe and I have a 11 MSR boot. I would suggest going to the local shop and trying some on. Even if you arent goint to buy them there, you will know the size. Most of my gear is MSR. If you are in a hot area then vented stuff really helps but you are in NY, so I dont think thats an issue. I guess I am just an MSR fan. Good luck!
