Anyone else watch the show called RIDES on TLC. Im watching the rerun of the Fast Forward Fastback 67 mustang fitted to look like the new 05 mustang. Thou Im not a Ford guy that car looks sweet. I would like to see a new Camaro with a throw back look to the 69 Z28. This show and American Choppers are my new addictions during the week.

 

Cool show! Would have liked to see more of the Mustang when it was finished than they showed. Maybe my wife will buy me one for my birthday. Yeah, if she does, beware of monkeys flying out of my butt!

 

Anybody see the Rides with the Hotwheels cars, the twin mill putting out 1500 horse. Those shows are how I get through the week

check out ebay for more on the mustang, it was being built for them. american chaopper, american hotrod, rides and the power block on spike. T.v is finally getting entertaining.

 

Did you guys see that Quadraduce built by Troy Trepanier from Rad Rides? A 600hp small block powerplant in a 2500lb AWD roadster[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] They claim a 0-60mph time of 2.8 sec. However, all the info that I have found on it claims 3.2sec. That is STILL SUPER FAST!!!!!

 

Yes I saw the quadraduce, real impressed by the "Checane" 1100hp small block with twin turbos. They said it ran 70-135mph in 1.8 seconds. Man thats hauling some a$$$$$$$. They should have taken a camera along for the ride in that Vette. 1200hp. I have driven a 850hp 10 second Elcamino down the strip. Just think about running 9 seconds or even 8seconds in the quater mile. Thats moving.

Your right Tv has gotten better thanks to the new shows.

yeah they kinda get the stats wrong on rides. if you hit the info box when rides was on it said they were modding out a '76 mustang but should have said '67. still a great show. anyone see southern chopper the other night? it was pretty good but the script was to close to american chopper. the dude kept saying stuff like "let me tell you" and other phrases paul jr uses on their show. man i've got to finish my shop so i can screw something up.
