Default I know this is an atv forum but i really need to know something about a xr 200 d-bike

Hello i was wonderin why all of the sudden my shocks just went all the way down and my fender is almost touchin my wheel.. so if anyone knows why .. they were fine the day before ..and if anyone knows why. this happend .. and what i should do plz respond asap!!!

By "shocks" meaning more than one, I take it you are referring to the front forks.

Sounds like bad fork seals.

did u bottom out then get crap between them to keep them down? they might have blown out too

so you think new fork seals will help them yes i was talking about the front forks.. i did bottom out .. but i dont think i could have blown them ..

I would think that if you bottomed the forks real hard, an internal part has been bent or broken, possibly a bushing broke and has caught something. The springs would hold the forks up, unless something is preventing them from returning to the extended position. Remove the forks from the bike to see which fork may be causing the problem. If you cannot find the problem, find a local suspension guy, all areas have some good ones. Most should be able to fix the forks at a reasonable price, and if you lucky, they will let you watch them rebuild the forks. It is not that difficult once you are shown the procedures.
