Let them all start hangin drywall or selling carpet, find out what the real world is. The ones who really get hurt here are guys who drive the buses and sell the hotdogs and all the ancillary support staff in the sport, they ain't bitchin about only makin a million and a half, they are trying to pay for a used pickup most likely. Screw pro athletes, owners, the whole lot of 'em. They make me sick.

ALOT of business has been lost due to the lock out....I think 50% of the busniess the stores normally received is gone because of the lock out...I honestly dont see why people complain about it...I mean yes..it is bs but look at the other pro sports....how many lock outs have they had?

Not a huge sports fan, but I believe this is the first time a whole season went up in smoke. Seems to me Baseball killed half a season once or twice. Funny part to me is that they replaced hockey with all those poker contests. They have twice the viewers that hockey ever did.

That's hilarious. If'n I were a hockey player and the poker guys were taking my place I'd feel pretty stupid.

Now dont get me wrong I have nothing against hockey, that isnt covered by my dislike for All arrogant over paid atheletes in any sport. Having said that, I do think it would be funny if when all these hockey superstars ended their little tantrum, no one was there to watch them play. Or pay their salaries. I guess well see how deep their fan base is.

alot of it has to do with teams like the rangers and wings and colorado and all the teams that stack up on the good famous stars. i believe they need to get rid of the players that want to much and replace them with rookies from the AHL and college. if yinz ever watch a college of AHL game they skate there a$$es off because they want to be in the NHL. some of the players in the NHL don't give 100% cuz they already made it to the NHL. i know this cuz i play and i'm 15 years old and i'm playing with kids 16,17,and 18 year olds. i skate my *** off everytime i hit that ice and earned my spot on the first line
