Well heres a quick overview of the course.
All Terrain Vehicle Instructor Course
The All Terrain Vehicle instructor-training program is five days in length. Program discussions will focus on new technologies, collision involvement and statistics, rider attitude, company policy (for industrial clients) and general safety issues. In addition, the program also focuses on instructional techniques of delivery, presentation skills and facilitation practices.
The Instructor Course provides presenters with the tools necessary to effectively impart critical information to participants in an effort to help them minimize and/or eliminate the potential risk involved in operating an all terrain vehicle.
Candidate Instructors will participate in a full, one-day student program and move into instructional content for the balance of the four days. During this time they, will plan and practice-teach from the Canada Safety Council’s All Terrain Vehicle Program curriculum.
The Instructor Kit includes the Instructor Manual, a program Video, a set of program Overheads and the Participant Workbook and accompanying course forms and documents.
The Alberta Safety Council and the Canada Safety Council will certify successful candidates – they will receive an Instructor Certificate and be recognized provincially and nationally as an Instructor in the program.
