We all had to start somewhere, what was the first job you guys started off as. First job I had was working for my parents telecommunications business. I started off at 8 bucks an hour straight cash and worked up to 12. That was only a summer thing though, once school started I got taco bell to sign me, which was basically my first job. what was your guys first job, how old were you, and how much did you make?

My first job was at the original cookie, or Mrs. Fields as it's called now. Was a fun job since it was at the mall and there was always cute girls to give cookies away to.

First of all, there is no shame in humble beginnings. Like you said, we all had to start somewhere. For me it was almost 17 yrs ago (I was 14 then, now I'll be turning 31 soon), my first job was at a Dairy Queen flipping burgers in a small town of 3000 people. Due to labor laws and the size of the business, they only had to pay the smallest of wages. I was making a whopping 2.25 an hour. Pretty good money, huh ? Well I worked a lot of hours and was knocking back 70-80 dollars a week. Most of which I saved towards my first car, a 62 chrysler newport which was almost a classic at that time.
I have a lot of respect for those who work hard for their money, regardless of the job. Also, anyone who chooses to better themselves by learning a new trade or increasing their knowledge in their given field should be commended. In recent years, not this one I've had annual salaries in excess of 100k. Not trying to brag, just showing that with the right attitude and mindset anyone can achieve goals they set for themselves. I was able to help family members with educating themselves and bring a pretty fair comfort level to my wife and children. Now, I'm a lot less concerned with making the dollars and more concerned with getting some good seat time on the quad.

I was bagging groceries at the age of 15. That was the first job Uncle Sam was a part of. I did the standard kid thing, raking/mowing/snow removal and the like before hand.
