New Jeep Scramblers!!
#22
Ford and ****** was hired to make Jeeps for the Army back in WWII. They got their name from General Purpose vehicle. GP sounds like Jeep. If I remember correctly.

One other story was because it was like Jeep on Popeye. Meaning it could anywhere. Who knows for sure.
BTW, The show Mail Call on History channel, that is a Ford Jeep. Something about that doesn't seem right....****** & Jeep just go together.
As far as new versus old. Check out the Wrangler Rubicon. Front & rear lockers, 4:10s & a 4:1 TC with 31's MTRs. That is a bad dude. I'm on my 2nd Grand Cherokee V-8. These things haul.

Anyone who's driven a cj/tj for more than a week knows its not an onroad vehicle. But I'm sure the scramblers would sell well for the current market as most of these buyers think they need 4wd to get down a gravel road. After all, isnt that why we have the H2 and are making the H3 and H3T?
