Woo Woo! NICE work Calgary! That was one of the best playoff games I've seen.

 

Lord Stanelys Cup will be won Saturday night night by the Calgary Flames.

 

If I was the coach of Calgary in game 6 I would of said, "If anyone gets a penalty your OFF the god damn TEAM!!!" Penalties are what made them loose the cup, pisses me off to no end. I still can't believe this penalty crap in both games.

You know that was a goal in game 6, there should have been no game 7. You heard Bettman saying Anderchuck(sp) waited 29 years for the cup, and the NHL abliged. CORRUPT

The hockey was real entertaining to watch, all that heart and soul being put in but to watch it being played on an uneven field just shows how money talks and justice walks. Look at OJ, look at Iraq. Don't worry, it's here in Nova Scotia too.

Also, there used to be a penality for delaying the game. I think the refs should be given some sort of penality for the same(fine). They can take away the momentum and DO.

I respect all the players but the NHL and most all pro sports are corrupt. TOO much money.

Calgary played like they didn't want the cup,2-0,less than a minute left in the second and they get another penalty!!!!!!!Thats when I said f you and went to bed,congrats to Tampa Bay,you wanted it more.

 

That's when I turned it off. The first 2 periods Tampa dominated them. They lose the cup, I lose 25 bucks for saying Calgary in 6 games. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Calgary wanted Stanley BAD, didn't you watch the playoffs? They kicked butt the whole way through and against all the odds. They impressed me beyond any other team. They deserved the Cup!

If you wouldn't have given up on them and watched the whole game you might say diferent. They came on strong as they did every other game, with full heart. How dare the refs call a penalty with 2:XX left in the game. How's that for breaking the momentum of one full charging Calgary team againt one running scared Tampa Bay team ? Not to mention the goal in game 6 that was stolen from them.

You have my respect, you gave it your all, you intertained us with pure Canadian heart against a bunch of high paid sellouts that had the help of the NHL. Do not dare hang your head, raise it high as I lift mine higher because of your effort.

Way to go CALGARY !!!

You won my heart and many others, all Tampa won was a piece or metal.

I'm sure you are right, all the other teams must have respect for the Calgary team and their heart filled effort. Who in their right mind wouldn't after seeing them beat the odds, they just couldn't beat Bettman. What a twiddle head that guy is.
