Sorry Gary, I missed your post on the first page. Greatest Camaro of all time. The big stink with GM was the designer convinced the GM bigwigs that the aluminum motor would only cost them around 400 dollars to produce. Turned out it was around 4000 dollars actual production cost in 1969, just for the motor! I got a buddy that has the motor he got out of a wrecked COPO in 1972 while he was working in Detroit. He used it in a drag vega for a while but said it was to much power for the frame so he took it apart and its been in a 50 gal barrel of oil since. In 2002 he was offered 52 grand for it by GM but he turned them down. Not me thata been a done deal there!!!

Besides wanting the 69' Yenko.
Truck would be either 91 Syclone, Like the one my brother owned. (ran mid 11's in the quarter). Or 92 454SS, but it wouldnt stay stock very long. Have to tub it and run alot of goodies in the motor with dual nos fogger setup.

I didnt think they made the 454ss in 92, I thought it stopped in 91. Anyway, they were low on hp and ran pretty slow for the engine they had in it. I'm sure some modifications would wake it up though.
