What was your first car?

69 Chevy Nova, 350 4speed. Multi-colored custom paint with pinstriped flames on the sides. I did many upgrades during the time I had it, 461BB with 4:56's turned it into a real tire burner. I should have kept it.....

1987 chevy camaro iroc-z28, 5 liter(because it sounds more respectable than a chevy 305). Since then I've painted it, and put a better trans in(that was supposed to go with a bad@$$ motor, that still sits in my barn) Tuned port injection(A.K.A. fancy boat anchor injection). Somehow I still have it. Oh well, its my other baby now.

A '52 Chevy pickup when I was 17, straight six, 3 speed on the column. Paid 150 hard earned $’s for it (loading hay bales onto wagons and into barns after school). It lasted 6 months until something broke in the tranny / clutch, then with my parents help I bought a brand new ’71 Toyota Hi-Lux pickup (4 on the floor) for $1900 out the door. I of course had to make my own payments to the bank and also had to pay back what my parents had loaned to me. Regular gas was only 29.9 cents / gallon back then too, then if I wanted to spend the extra cash, I could go for premium at 31.9 cents / gallon. A fill-up cost me about $3.25 (if my tank was near empty)…
