that would be correct if we were talking about the srt-10 in a CAR...the tomahawk motorcycle with the srt-10 engine does over 300 mph top speed...

 

they were sayin the srt10 would do 175.the suzuki hayabusa does about 185 i think so that tomahawk would do about 300 but its a concept so who cares.The viper will do about 190 i think.

 

Ford needs to redo the Lightning. It lost the fastest production truck title this past Feb before the Daytona 500. Brendon Gaughin from Nascar's Truck Series and now Nextel Cup series drove the Dodge SR-T10 to the new record. So Ford needs to come back and reclaim it's title.

 

theres not going to be a 2005 lightning but instead they will be coming back out with a 2006 model which will probably be released in late 2005. nobody has said for sur but the 2006 might have a little over 500hp. the srt10 holds the top speed record when it beat the lightning by just a little over 2mph on a track. i like both trucks but thats pretty bad when the srt10 has 500hp and the lightning has 380hp, only 2mph faster and the lightnings can take it in the 1/4 with just an airbox mod. ford svt will not be releasing any 2005 models which include the lightning, cobra and focus. the tomahawk bike is not suppose to go into production at all. chysler said that was just something they came up with to draw attention and have no plans of selling them. they estimate the top speed around 300mph if the bike would stay stable. there is another bike that will compete with it that is for sell to the public. it uses a jet helicopter engine and they estimate it's top speed to be over 300mph but nobody has tried to top one out, jay leno has one. the busa tops out at 194mph off the showroom floor and i can garentee it will run 185 since i have reached that speed a couple of times on mine.
