I just bought a helmet on e-bay.
The helmet is a brand new, in the box Shoei FX-3.
This helmet was discontinued in '98 and was replaced by the FX-4.
I called Shoei and they said the retail price for it in '98 was $279.00.
I was able to purchase it for $85.00 + $15 for shipping.

There is a lot of atv stuff on e-bay, while the prices sometimes get kind of high, you can sometimes find a good deal.

If anyone is interested in one of these helmets the dealer that sold me mine (Frandsen's Rec. Center) does have some more left in limited sizes and colors.

 

true, I have bought a set of shocks and A-arms for my quad, including a complete tranny gear setup. They have great deals.
