Holy smokes, I just searched e-bay, just search for atv's, theres a bunch that have scam written all over them, all have ridiculously low buy now prices, no address for the seller, must be approved to bid, must pay full amount in 2 days before paperwork can be done. Doesn't e-bay know about this allready? Check some of the Polarises out, you won't believe it.

 

I just posted a topic about one with the a predator for $2800 a week or so ago. One guy on here actually played along with the seller for a while. It was pretty entertaining.

 

Check out item#2425176173, read his story, scam artists are using his pic of a bike he has for sale, he is bidding on his own bike so no one else gets ripped off.

 

Check out this 04 sportsman 700 Scam

 

 

That guy who has the 700 Sportsman had an auction last week for the same thing. I still have it on my watch page on eBay. He had a Buy it Now price of $3600. I emailed him to see if this was correct and where he lived. He said he was in Germany. The funny thing is, his username on the auction last week was mot789. In his new auction, his username is scumpskin. Same exact pictures and description. Think somebody is getting their ID "borrowed". Watch out for these 'great' deals. As the old saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

 

Hahaha what a scam. This is what he responded to my email back with:

That person is full of it. That ebay ID is owned by a female who sells baby clothes and buys lingerie. check out her closed auctions. They say shes from Cumberland Plateau United States /Nashville, Not "Great Deal USA Italy" To bad she doesn't accept PayPal, I could have got her email address from there and told her that her ebay ID has been stolen. She doesn't list any contact info in any of her closed auctions.
