Yep. She was sentenced today to five months in prison, two years of supervised release and a $30,000 fine. THATS IT!!!! The minimun sentence. Must be nice to be able to buy your way out of trouble

That is stupid.....If it were anyone of us, we would be seeing maximum security for the next 500 years. Just goes to show that the rich run the country and can get away with anything. For example, I just read about a woman teacher who had sex with one of her jr. high boys and because she was a woman and rich, she got 2 years probabation...WT??????? That is bullsh1t. If it were a guy, he would be put away for life or longer. Makes me want to go buy a Martha Stewart blow up doll and run it over with my quad.

That's awesome. I hope I'm filthy rich some day. Republican/Democrat, don' matta. As long as you got the cash...
Too bad in the bible it says 'it is more difficult for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle'.

If its federal time, which I believe it was, then I think they are required to serve at least 90% of their sentence......often with the state the convicted will on average do about 40% of their sentence if they behave themselves while in prison, this is what a defense attorny told me once so I dont know how accurate it is.....

She was screwed to begin with. She protected her own money, as anyone of us would have done. Now those Enron and WorldCom punks stole BILLIONS from someone else. They deserve the death penalty.

maybe she isn't a threat to our society...and she can do more good than harm outside of jail
look at the bigger picture, and think how much money the taxpayers have spent on prosecuting her for the $50,000worth of stock she sold early and then lied about
sometimes peeps in our country are too critical of each other, just look at the posts on these forums
