Is there any way that you can decode your yamaha banshee vin number? website? I just bought one and would really like to know if its what the guy said it was. Please help, Ive searched everywhere and cannot find anything..

 

A quick call to your local dealer should answer your questions. They should be able to decipher the numbers as long as their willing to help. I had a little trouble with my dealer because he was always "busy". Be persistent, and if youre buying something it gives you a little leverage. Good luck.

 

The only thing I can tell you is that the letter that is in the tenth position is the year,
B 1981
c 1982
and so on to Y for 2000,
this should be true for any ATV or Motercycle with a 17-digit VIN

 

What exacly do you have questions on?
Banshees are basically the same from the get go..
