9/11 Commission Report Confirms Key Fahrenheit 9/11 Facts
The September 11 Commission's 567-page final report has confirmed key facts presented in Fahrenheit 9/11. These include:
Attorney General John Ashcroft told acting FBI director Thomas Pickard that he did not want to hear anything more about terrorist threats. Confirmed, Commission Report at p. 265
After Bush was informed of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center, he went ahead with his classroom event. After Bush was informed that the nation was under attack after the second plane hit, Bush stayed in the classroom for nearly seven more minutes, continuing to read with the children. Confirmed, Commission Report at pp. 35, 38-39.
Bush failed to have even one meeting to discuss the threat of terrorism with his head of counterterrorism Richard Clarke. Confirmed, Commission Report at p. 201.
Bush failed to react to the August 6, 2001 security briefing, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” Confirmed, Commission Report at pp. 260-262.
142 Saudis, including 24 members of the bin Laden family, were allowed to leave the country after September 13. Confirmed, Commission Report at p. 556, n. 25 [Note that Fahrenheit 9/11 understates the number of Saudis who left.]
Individuals were interviewed by the FBI before being allowed to leave (although the report confirms that most individuals on these flights were not interviewed.) Confirmed, Commission Report at p. 557, n. 28.
White House former counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke approved these flights. Confirmed, Commission Report at p. 329.

2. So what should he have done jump up and down, run around in circles scaring the Sh*t out of a bunch of little kids? I for one saw the coverage of President Bush being told about the planes hitting the WTC Towers. If you can sit there and tell me that he wasn't disturbed by this information, then you are simply not living in reality.
3. Richard Clark had a job to do, and he failed at it. Typical Liberal response, "It's always someone else's fault"
4. Oh Jesus, up until 9/11, the US was receiving non stop threats from every Wacko group in the world. We were supposed to see this one coming? Nobody stopped the first WTC bombing, or the bombing of our ship! Michael Moore didn't stop it from happening either.
5. The majority of Bin Ladens family do not support his actions. What should we have done with them, throw them in jail because their family member is a flaming @ss? A lot of innocent Arab people were being abused for no other reason than their ethnic origin. They should have been allowed to leave once they were questioned and found to not have been involved.
6. "FORMER" Counmterterrorism Chief Richard Clarke, says it all.
The Academy of Motion Pictures will not even classify Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 as a Documentary, because it is so full of untruths and unsubstantiated facts that it doesn't warrant the classification. Moore has an agenda, and is in it to make MONEY. That's right, he is in it for the all mighty Buck. The "Truth" is the only victim in his movie.

OK, you want a debate with facts? I'm not your Dog, but lets give it a try. Lets look at your statement, "you're not pissed that bush lied about Saddam!?".
FACT! The 9/11 commission (Made up of both Democrats and Republicans) found that every credible intelligence agency in the world believed that Sadam had WMD's. This even includes the Russians who did not support our actions against Sadam.
FACT! Sadam had WMD's. We KNOW this because he used them against his OWN people, killing thousands.

I would just like to add something to this. I believe it was NY Governor George Pataki that made this comment last night at the Republican National Convention. He mentioned that on 9-11, we found that a box cutter in the hands of terrorist IS a weapon of mass destruction. And that Saddan Hussien HIMSELF IS a waepon of mass destruction. I thought that was a great speech and very true. Many people seem to forget that

Wow, this place is like the Nurenburg rallies. Listen to yourselves. Honestly, I ain't crazy about Kerry. But this Iraq situation is a huge miscalculation, any thinking man can see that...........
BTW, I'm not liberal. I am, however agianst, chickenhawks wasting American lives in the wrong war. Any of you poeple have sons or nephews? Do you want to see them drafted and sent to a lousy unwinnable war by a guy who avoided Viet Nam?

BSB anythinking man can see that it is the right thing to do to squash fundimentalist islamic terrorists. and well maybe we needed to kick sadamm out so we have somewhere besides america to have them come out and kill themselves? I really think the politics need to get out of the way of prosecuting the war. let the military take care of whats between A and Z where a is go kick their butts and Z is peace with a new government. and if you have to kill everyone in the country to get that objective accomplished then you have to kill everyone. war aint pretty. Hell look what just happend in russia. they shoulda been on kickin terrorist butts a long time ago but their passifists. passifism just gets ya killed.

If our military was allowed to prosecute a war the way they know how. I bet they would incurr 2/3rds less casualities at a minimum. But evceryone is worried about a couple naked people in a prison and stuff. big whoop just be glad i wasnt there cuz I would be torturing them. Feed em drugs and kick the crap out of them. starv em, electro shock therapy. I dont care whatever it takes. if they die oh well casualty of war. I suppose same coin falls for american soldiers captured. hell those basturds capture americans and cut their heads off and its not half as big of a deal as naked people gettin a lil psycological gameplay. BULLCRAP I SAY. people in america are what the world says SPINELESS you wanna make em rethink and back out just make it dirty cuz they cant handle it,

OneFlyCowboy this is the operative statement............
>>> BSB anythinking man can see that it is the right thing to do to squash fundimentalist islamic terrorists<<<
Saddam was a secular dictator , he kept his loons under control. Now, Iraq is breeding religious whackos that hate America faster than Al Queda. Doesn't anyone see the flaw in this plan? Invading Iraq was the absolute worst thing we could have done to fight Al Queda. I'm sure I'll get a bunch of John Wayne-like replies. But you know what? It may be your kid getting killed over there in a couple years. Suddenly this game won't be so funny.........

I guess you would say iraq would have been better off still under saddam? say half of iraq didnt believe in the US being there but the other half did. hell thats about like america. sounds like the breeding grounds for a democratic republic to me
