Here's some more advice from a married guy. See if she'll go once if you will quit hassling her. If she doesn't like it, leave it alone. You tried. Then all you have to do is figure if her not camping is a deal breaker or not.
My wife grew up on horses, actually took me on my first snowmobile trip, and made me buy a quad even though I have a dirt bike (so we can swap the kid back and forth for her to have more fun on hers). She had never gone in the woods before meeting me, though. I took her camping the day after we got engaged. We slept in a 2 man tent with us and my dog. She only complained slightly (mostly about the smell - still not sure if she meant me or the dog ). After that came bigger tents and air mattresses. After a visit from a bear, we both decided a Motor Home was worth the investment (helped with snowmobile camping, too.)
Now we have a 30' fifth wheel with a slide, AC, even satellite TV. We haven't tent camped since, but still own the tent.
You will never change a BF or GF, just decide if you can live with the differences or if you need to keep looking. If you decide to accept she doesn't camp, don't complain about it - ever. The choice to accept it was yours.

Good words vmaxfrank. I got lucky, my wife is Hi-Lo maintenance. Likes Coach purses, and designer clothes, AND sleeping in the woods and riding quads... The easiest thing to do, give her everything she wants, and when I ask, I get everything I want, fair trade. She stays home and maintains the house, I work and mow the grass. She did have a side gig for awhile, she sold the power tools that Girlygirl was talking about at the beginning of this thread, but she got tired of it and stopped. I don't care, as long as she is happy, I am happy. And we have only been married 4 years.
As for Lomax, how much camping are you planning on doing? Camping and riding is our (the wife and I) vacation, 1 full week in spring, at least one weekend every month, and one full week in the late summer. Other than that the only vacation I take is hunting season, and she never says a word about that time, thats Father and Son week, (My dad and I) So basically, how important a part is camping and riding in your life?

So your girl doesnt want to go camping with you. Its ok, leave her at home. Make sure the credit cards and cash are all locked up. Take your buddies to go camp with you. When you get back talk about all the fun you had and the next time she will go.
