2 Strokes Versus 4 Strokes
#2
This should get interesting, you're gonna get a lot of answers on this one. Before it gets ugly, let me just say I have both. The key to either one is maintanence. If you take care of them, either will last. When you start to add performance parts to either, you're putting more stress on the machine and it is more likely to fail (not saying it will, just that it's a possibilty). Just find one that suits your riding style and be happy with it.

I would say there both good in there own rights.
The four stroke has a lot of torque which is nice on a quad for gunting through trails over logs and what not.
Two Strokes are good for going fast they have better pickup and are eaiser to fix when they do blow.
CC for CC the 2-stroke is a more power motor and makes a lot more power per CC.
I own and enjoy both. Just depends what i'm doing. for a quad i'll take 4 stroke becaus i like the torque.
But a Bike i'll take the 2 stroke because i like the zip and flat out rush of it.
Different strokes for different folks
