Default What the he11 is wrong with these people?

My gosh!!! I put our daughter's LT80 on ebay this last Sunday. Since then I have had 3 people from other countries want me to make arrangements for their buyer, and it included cashier's check's and more money, blah blah blah. I HATE THESE SCAMMERS!!! This is becoming such a joke on e-bay now that I dont know if I'll ever try to sell anything more than a $1.00 item again. Anyone else having these problems?

I would tell them you will ship the quad, when you receive the moolah.

i think the easy answer here would be 'No International bidders'or 'Will not ship, must be picked up locally' that should take care of your problem.

or what radfast said. cash before shipping.

The good thing is it's easy to spot these guys. The bad thing is not everybody knows about them.

hey Dana I had a hard time selling my 400 Sportsman on ebay.I had to relist it 3 times due to deadbeat bidders using the buy it now.One guy won the bid and drove down to get it and tried to talk me down and then didnt take it.Finally a guy from Texas that I sent a second chance offer to was glad to drive up and get it ! But all the BS on ebay you have to watch out and communicate with the bidders/sellers.I havent given up on ebay yet because where else can you find Polaris parts Brad

Well, another one this morning. The bad thing is any online ads can be found by these clowns. They want me to get a check for $5000, then cash it and give them back 3500 which would give me a little extra. I started telling them unless they wait for it to clear then we dont do business. What's really a shame is these guys sound real professional and I am afraid of how many people are falling for this. Not only do they lose their money, but their product also. Ebay might have to end up making auctions in US only, England only, etc. to ever solve this.
