Picked up an 05 450 Kodiak about a month ago. Took advantage of the 2.5 warn winch special. Was up hunting the other day and had my first chance to use the winch to drag a deer up out of a dry wash. My question is how do you keep the cable from bunching up on the spool when your taking the cable back in with a lot of tension on it.

 

I haven't figured that out either. What I do is winch a ways and then stop and respool the winch neatly and pull the cable out and winch again. It's time consuming, But it seems to work ok.
