Yes you definitely mis-read me and I am done with this post. It does no good to argue about the Bible. Just read it and pray about understanding it. It is difficult but eventually it gets easier and if your earnest in trying God will give you understanding. Try the New Living Bible, it in todays words. God Bless.

Dude, smoke another bowl.
I was in the Army for 15 years. I can say what ever I want about the government. What book did you read. I do know some people who are in the "Know" because they are there. They say most of the country likes the U.S. However, the few that don't get all the press. You know, like one bad cop makes every cop look bad.
Anyways, find a new book or at least talk about something you know about. Philosophy is great, but it aint always correct.

Just wanted to clarify something. Iraq failed to acknowledge several UN Resolutions. The Resolutions were agreed to by Sadam to stop Desert Storm. He agreed to the items and did not allow anyone to follow up. Therefore, he broke the pact. Because some of the key members of the UN were making a killing in secretly supporting Sadam, the UN chose not to lift a finger. This left the United States and Great Britain to deal with Sadam. Why did Sadam have to be dealt with. Perhaps he was not part of the Taliban or Alquaida (spelling). Does that make him any less dangerous?
Example...
I am a Law Enforcement Officer. I have learned that most crimes against persons' such as Rape, Homicide, Robbery etc.. are committed by people who have been released from Jail after promising to be good. Communities are outraged when they see another person who should not have been let back into society hurt or kill an innocent person. Usually, the people making the most waves are the activist groups who do not support war for any cause.
Back to the issue...
What if Sadam would have been left in power. What if he would have sold a WMD to another group who wanted to do the US harm. Even if the weapons originally came from us to begin with. Who would be blamed if Sadam sold a weapon that killed a million Americans in the United States. Would Bush be to blame?
Bush did what he fealt was right. Was he correct? I hope so. Are the judges right in letting bad guys out of Prison? The answer is a Catch 22. If the bad guy lives out his life peacefully, the judge (Bush) is a hero. If the bad guy hurts someone, the Judge (Bush) is a goat.
For us to sit back and judge is silly. No one has the answers to everything. Perhaps if the UN was not on the take, they would have dealt with Sadam and we would be discussing the crazy ride we just had on our ATV's. Perhaps if the Judges weren't pressured by the growing cost to keep bad guys in prison my cousin would still be alive. Just food for thought.
As for my opinion, I believe going after Sadam was correct. I think he hated us bad enough to assist in our demise. Was he the most dangerous person to our security? Don't know. I have read all the messages in this thread. Not one of you are incorrect. Why? Because you, including me are going on what we believe. Our beliefs are based upon the information we have obtained by various means and life experiences. It does not matter who the President was or is. None of them want to see harm done on the American People.
Thanks for listening. See you on the trails.....

God didnt make that rule, he didnt tell Sarah to have her servant sleep with Abraham, thats what you dont get. She had her own free will to do that against Gods will. Therefore we now have the decendants of Ishmael and in the Bible it tells you what the outcome of Sara and Abraham taking things into their own hands was. Read Genesis.

Oh, I see so I guess I had this thing all wrong.......So what you are saying this is more like a modern day Crusades.....I get it now...God gave them a different set of rules...... and then made it our resposibility to go over and straighten them out..........Whew it is so simple now I can sleep at last...Thankyou so much for clearing that up.

Show me proof of where our Countrys leadership has consistently and intentionally done something bad to others all for the sake of our gain. Dont just look at this one sided. We all make mistakes, (our leadership ever since this country existed included) but taking Saddam out of his position was no mistake. Maybe we should have done Korea first, maybe Iran, maybe...blah blah blah. We didnt we did Afghanastan and Iraq, get over it and support your troops and the decision of our leaders. It amazes me how so many (so called) experts criticize that are not in the know. They criticize after the fact when they see the result that maybe didnt work out as planned. Then they scream the country is divided!!! Yes and what role are you playing in it? Hey, life happens according to Gods will, sometimes it isnt what we think it is and other times it is but in know way was this world better with Saddam in power.
Besides if you believe the Bible all things happen according to Gods will, not yours, mine, or anyone else who has an opinion.
God is the creator of all things and his plan is the one that matters. Read the Bible and understand this. Islam is evil and it is here to destroy us. So was Saddam.
