hondabuster is right that we supported Saddam when he was honoring America's best interests. We were the ones that gave him the "weapons of mass distruction."
We did the same thing with Castro in Cuba.
But we have often made that same mistake.
Now we just have to clean up the mess we made, or that we let them make.

True, we armed him and trained others as well, but that does not excuse the fact that people we trained and armed are now trying to kill us and we must kill them before they kill us.

Well they do have several excuses actually. How would we feel if say, China's armed forces came to America and were doing to us what we are doing in Iraq. We'd be rebeling even more than the people in Iraq are. You guys think America is so innocent in this story. Brush up on some history other than what you've read in History text books where America is always the hero. America has performed more terrorist acts and assasinations than any other country. Why do you think we are number 1? We didnt get here by being Mr. Nice Guy...

Im not agreeing that the terrorist acts that they are committing are right. Im completely against ANY terrorism commited by ANY country including ours!!! You really need to read some history before you create post such as these. To say that America has never committed terrorism is just ignorant. And what would that have to do with our soldiers now?????? They are doing their jobs very well!!

Of course we need control and we do need to "kill them before they kill us" or whatever childish slogan you have for this, but just realize that they do have reasons for what they are doing. If you dont see that, then again...please read a history book!

What motive would terrorists have for committing these acts? They don't just do it for fun. They are protecting their country just like we would if someone tried to annex our land.
