Death Penalty is not automatic. They will have a trial starting next week on why he should get it. Also, that might be the avg. But in recent years, Richard Davis who killed Polly Klaus was put to death, I think in about 5 years.

 

man, gettin the death sentence in cali is like gettin life without parole. nobody gets killed here, the legal system is too back up with retards suing people over their own stupidity.

 

What really gets to me is they had no hard proof that he done it. Glad they found him guilty but with no evidence anyone could be convicted for anything.

 

Gary, I agree with you about no evidence.

If going by the true rule of law, he should have been aquited as they had no real evidence other than placing himself at the scene where the body was found.

I believe he got what he deserved, but by the law he should have been found not guilty.

* Now if you want to hear my idea on what really happend here it is.......

1) Scott hires the "**** Lowriders" to kidnap and kill his wife for insurance money.

2) "**** Lowriders" have Scott go to the marina to get a receipt for his aliby.

3) "**** Lowriders" kidnap and kill Laci.

4) Scott defaults on payment to the "**** Lowriders".

5) "**** Lowriders" dump the body in the bay next to Scotts aliby for non-payment knowing that Scott will not rat them out as he would be snuffed out quick in Jail.

 

and on the same token, they had a ton of evidence that OJ did it and look what happened there!!
