Its idiots just like the post above mine,[running from the cops]is one reason WHY we off road riders have so darn many restrictions on us in the first place.

I agree that running is bad, but I think stupid tickets like those are just gonna make the person run next time. I have been pulled over kinda out in the country, where it was still illegal because it was a "township road". The sheriff just told me to go slow and stay on the edge of the road on my way home. He even said next time just take a different road around the edge of the township and just go slow. I did that next time and he saw me and just waved. If I would have got ticketed the first time I would never stop again. I can understand tickets if you are being unsafe, but tickets for little things is just stupid.

 

i go slow a lil ways down the road and then i hit dirt and corn fields and stuff i was barely going and he gave me a ticket and i have to go to court now

 

SpeedDemon13, thank the author, JTY2K, of the post above. Because of actions like that, they now hassle people even if they are not causing any problems and are riding responsibly.

 

I have never been pulled over or gotten a ticket.
But when i have rode around on dirt rodes i'm always careful to watch my speed.
I've riddin through my smalll down a couple times and i keep on the edge and go very slow.
I've found if i'm riding a utility the Cop will leave me alone but with the Raptor i'm not sure.

But i do know if it came down to him taking my quad or a 500$ fine i would would ride to beat h*ll.

Otherwise I ride slow and people know me and everyone wavs.
Long as you ride in a respectful way people and cops will leave you alone.
Least around here.

 

okay heres what im sayin running isnt good from the cops...but check this okay your out riding doing nothing wrong just havin a good time when u see red and blue lights...now why would u take a ticket have to go to court pay the fine blah blah when the gas is on the right and u can run like all hell and keep havin a good time let your ***** drop cops are dicks alll they do is ruin peoples fun think about breakin up parties pulling riders over they need to do something worth there time... dont ruin our fun by calling 911 and all of you that say im wrong are proably old people who ride lil POS polaris's

Ive been pulled over on the trails a few times because they couldnt see my registration stickers. They where really cool. They just asked if I had atv safety. Then they asked how I like my machine becasue he was thinking of getting on for his kid.
