Peterbilt or Kenworth

I like the feel and fit of the Pete better. Get the power, tranny and axles to suit your needs.
I don't drive the big rigs on the road anymore, medical problems so I turned in my CDL, but still drive them in the fields.
I like the old long nose, big radiator trucks, these new ones look kind of wimpy to me. Sure are easy to drive and see out of however. Glad the old days of a five speed main box and 4 speed "Brownie" are gone. Steering with your left elbow while shifting both boxes was not that much fun.
Took the side "S-10" logos off my "truck" and covered the bow-tie on the front with a Peterbuilt emblem. Have had a number of dumbasses ask where they could find a Peterbuilt dealer so they could look at the pickups. I send them to a Pete dealer, bet the salesmen get a laugh out of it.

this may be a wordy durd but i would have to say a classic XL frieghtliner would be my choice with c-15 or 60 series, eaton autoshift and meritor drives. but between pete and kw.......379 is my choice. i dont care for kw at all. just remeber less weight the better. i would shy away from the acert cat though.

Are you starting a company? I've been looking into it but so far no luck. I simply don't have the cash that it's gonna take to get started here in Ca. plus fuel is still $2.18 a gal.
