A kid I used to work with got bit by one of those while we were working summer crew as a kid.

Bit the back of his neck,,,,,,,,,needless to say,,,,he was in the hospital for a bit. He survived though.

We have a similar spider called the Hobo around here.......even in the house,,,I see them all the time.

my Biology had a Brown Reclusive... in a jar... man.. those things are NASTY!!! i've seen BRS in Bloomington B4.. and ACTUALLY almsot have been bitten a few times...

 

Dude idk wtf id do if my thumb looked like that because of a little spider. Looks like my good buddy's would be spending alot fo time with me, Jimmy, Jack, Johnny, and Jose(jimmy bean, jack daniels, johnny walker, jose cuervo)

My house was infested with those dam spiders. I used to see one ore more a day. In the attic there used to be 1000's of dead ones. They just looked all dried up. I put new siding on the house a year or two ago, that along with spraying a few times and I haven't seen any in a while. I swear there were thousands of them under the siding when I ripped the old off. Once while we were sleeping the wife jumps up screaming that a spider just ran across her face. We turned on the lights and sure enough a brown recluse was in bed with us. We almost moved, but decieded to try other means, so far its worked. But I worry about it all the time having a baby and a 8 year old. I check they beds all the time and we clean very often.
