dont believe everything u hear, especially from dirtwheels, and how is putting a fourstroke 250 in a blaster an upgrade?

Its an upgrade as long as its a high performance water cooled 4stroke and not a destroked warrior motor.

2-stroke quads are gone after the Banshee and Blaster are killed next year.

No major manufacturer will offer any 2-stroke ATV at all.

There is no actual ban. The 2-stroke dirt bike will live on well past the self-imposed ATV ban.

As far as I know only Gas-Gas will offer a 2-stroke after next year.

If they used the engine from a yz250f that would be cool. OK. on 3 everyone start holding their breath.

My understanding is that 2-strokes will only be sold for closed-course competition. ATV's and dirtbikes.

Basically, you'd have to lie to your dealer to buy one. Eventually 2-stroke atvs will die off. I think the legislation will result in poor sales for those quads.

Its not just an ATV thing, its for all consumer production. Why do you think stihl has started making 4 stroke yard implements when 2 strokes have served them well for decades?
