Why no helmets?
Im bad about it when we are just goofing around. On a track or if we do some serious trail riding I always where it, but when we are just out at my buddies farm or making quick runs at Haspin I don't where it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Just laziness I guess, that and sometimes my head gets raw from taking it on and off.
The only times I won't where it is slow morning rides. I enjoy nature better without then when sight seeing.

Why no helmets?
Some of us had neck operations and other problems with our necks that the extra weight creates pain. Some of us were brought up in era that we did not have goverment and people telling us what to do all the time. We rode our bicyles with out helmets, we went fishing without life preservers, we played neighborhood tackle football without helmets. Why the hell should we start now. We survived. Let people make their own choices.

Now dont get me wrong I'm the last person that likes to be told what to do. Looking through the gallerys I see a bunch of pictures of people jumping and riding wheelies without helmets. I go on lazy morning rides sometimes without a helmet but I always regret it. In fact on a lazy morning ride a few years back I met a tree up close and ended up with a broken femur. If not for the helmet I was wearing I'm sure I would be dead.

Why no helmets?
i allways ride with a helmate, but i used to never whear a helmate on my LT250R, and i tried it realy quick on the raptor, and it makes the bike sound soo much better, and gives me a better "feel" i dunno, i still allways whear it though.

Guilty as charged. I'm bad about wearing my skid lid. I've lost some buddies and you know what they all had there helmets on. I myself have crashed many times without my bucket. Know I'm not saying dont wear a Helmet! I come from the same era nubbin does. Only time I wore a helmet was when I skated at the skate park.
Now I wont race my Banshees without wearing my helmet. Just putting around the desert, Naw. When its your time its your time. No Helmet is gunna save ya. I could be wrong. Seen too much in my years of riding quads to change me.
