chest protectors
yeah i agree now they are a good idea.i was out riding and some how a stick seem to find it way aroung the fender and give me a nice bruse/hole in my chest.lucky me i was going slow because it was a new trail.the stick was about the size of your thumb and i figure if it had been a litte harder shot it could have been bad.anyways going before next ride to get one that was close.....to close[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

At 45, my experience has shown me that what ever I dont protect, is what I will be falling on that day. I wear everything but a neck roll. Cant be too careful, and at my age it takes way to long to heal.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

chest protectors
I used to be very limited on what I wore for protection until my buddy got a punctured lung. He was racing motocross on a dirtbike and nose dived on a huge double. Well he went over the bars and the bike bounced back on top of him and something punctured his lung.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Now he wears a chest protector every time he is on the track.
Im still bad about protection when Im trail riding tho.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
