Default Fender Scrathes

Well I ordered a set of mairer front plastics for my quad. He told me they had some scratches that I couldn't see in the picture so I figured big deal maybe 10 scratches or something. I get them and they are totally scratched up. My question is what is the best way to make the scratches not visible. What about taking a red bondo(if it matches the fenders), and just taking a puddy knife, and smoothing my fenders out and wipping the bondo off the non scratched parts?

I would think the bondo would eventually crack over time as the plastic flexes. I'd suggest sanding them down, as best you can with some wet/dry paper, going from course to fine. If they are deep, cover them with some graphics/stickers. Good Luck

Those 6-packs work pretty good.

If they are fine scratches, you can remove them by running a torch over them about 8 inches away (*keep moving at all times and don't get too close*). This will also restore the shine.

You might practice on your old plastics.
