Hey 86LT250RFatty. Yep, Seadoo is built by Bombardier. The engine is built by a company called Rotax that is owned by Bombardier. This is the same company that makes the Quads and Skidoos. All engines are made by Rotax. XP is the model of the Jetski and 650 is the engine size. It is a 2-stroke, 2 cylinder rotary valve engine that puts out about 60 HP. Its a popular ski, great for jumping. Just keep up on the engine, and don't tip it over. Things to watch out for are cracked oil injector lines between the injection pump and the rotary valve cover. Also, check to see if the pump has been disconnected and then your ski will require mixing gas and oil.

they aren't real fast, but they do get up and go to a certain point, if you want speed get the stand up models, the sit down pleasure ones, go pretty fast, but what is fast for a jet ski? i don't know, the fastest i went was about 80, on my friends honda aquatrax1000 i believe? it was a 1000 cc, its nice, but its obvious those things have alot of water resistence. and thats the reason for the sharp front to deflect water, my guess is.
