Doug Gust and Yoshimura steals Tech from TC racing

I heard that Doug Gust and Yoshimura stole tech support from TC racing when Doug first used the TC racing Pipe and then Yoshimura made the exact same exhaust expect it looks different. Is this true?

yosh had been working on the drz -400 motor bike long before anyone else .they knew what work on the bike and what didn't ,then they took that R&D used it on the quad.
