If you have the time, type atv riding gear into a search engine. You'll get plenty of places to shop. I always checked out the closeout sections, hard to pay 100 bucks for pants I don't wear every day.

Default riding gear?

I just bought a set of Alloy gear on close out atMotosport Outlet I bought the more expensive of the close out gear and it is real nice gear. I am thinking about ordering some extra jerseys and gloves just because it is such a bargain.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but can anyone tell me the point is of riding shirts? I know some of the pants have statigically placed padding and may be water resistant, but what about the shirts? Most I've seen are just silky mesh.

Are you spending $50 or more on a shirt just to match the pants? I'm sure I'm missing something here.

I always but gear at close out prices. I can usually get pants, jersey, and gloves for under $100.00. Most jerseys have padding in the elbows and some are ventilated to keep you cooler in the summer. They are also are more tear resistant than a long sleeve t-shirt for more protection when you do fall. I live by the motto, "Dress for the crash, not the ride".

I too buy all my gear at closeout prices or on ebay.Never gave more than $20 for jerseys and $45 for pants. The jerseys with dry 10x faster than regular shirts and are cooler in hot weather.
