I suspect it can be done, you might have to cut a hole in the tractor hood or you may be able to run it outside of the hood. Take some measurements and talk to your local muffler shop about bending out the pipe you will need. You will need a flapper or 90 Deg. bend at the top to prevent rain from entering the engine.

Runnings, Mills Fleet Farm, or any ag-parts store will have the pipe caps you are looking for, they come in several sizes for different pipes.

Are you talking about a small tractor that already has the exhaust out the side? My Kobota has the horizontal exhaust. The way it's exhaust was turned at the end it would cause hot exhaust to blow back on me while I was mowing, that made mowing 4 acres a chore in the summer. I just had a pipe bent to run my exhaust under the tractor. Might not be the same size your talking about though, it's a 25 horse (I think ?)

mine is a 97 or 08 b7100 HST. 4 wheel drive its a 16 horse but it seems like much more because it has a 3 cylinder diesel in it, and yeah the exhaust already comes out the left side of the tractor pointing strait ahead i was wonder if i can move that to a vertical position, it has 4 bolts and a gasket it appears to be moveable and the pipe is not perfect strait its curved a little to the left but still rain could get in, but can i mount a flapper on that already stock exhaust. i'll try and find a site to show you what it looks like..

thanks.

As long as the flange is the same at all four mounting bolts you can turn it with out any problem. The only thing is it will put the exhaust right at head level and it the wind is blowing the right direction you will get a face full of hot exhaust.
