hi i was wondering do you half 2 get longer shocks if you get the +2inch longer A-arms and would it help 2 get the longer shocks if you didn't need them but wanted them

I have a 250x and am getting +2 longer A-arms would the 400ex shocks work for the longer A-arms

Any help would be great
