Default OT, question for all the motorheads out there....Mustang ?s

I don't know how much mony you want to put out, but I would get a crate motor for it. Good power, good mileage, and VERY reliable. It will turn an old type car into a very nice car. It's the way to go if you ask me.

Default OT, question for all the motorheads out there....Mustang ?s

carburetor size is about rpm as much as cubic inch ,and the the 289 is a high revin little motor. i stick by the 600 if you rev to 6500-7000 as i woud.i like mechanical secondaries ....as they are adjustable. if set right ,they are mean as hell.dont go too mild ,as i did you wont be satisfied !! do it now and dont look back. my car has a 350 in it and lifts left wheel... i love it !!!! 1.78 60ft. I LOVE ACCELERATION!!! dont care about top speed . pinned in the seat is for me!!! GOOD LUCK!!

Ain't no way he's gonna get 6.5-7k out of a stock engine with just an aftermarket ignition, carb and duel exhaust. The valvetrain won't do it.
