I had one great uncle killed by sniper fire at Okinawa and one great uncle who was a demo engineer (went ahead of everybody and blew spider holes shut) at Iwo Jima, he passed just a couple years ago.
I remember them and all the others who went thru h e l l for us all. Thank you Veterans, you're the greatest.

I would like to honor my brother, who survived getting blown up twice in Vietnam, only to die in a car accident shortly after coming home, and my Father, a WWII vet who stayed active in 3 chapters of the American Legion until his passing a year and a half ago. Both are greatly missed.

one of my grandpa was a marine and the other was in the army. I would like to honor both of them. My army grandpa fought in WWII and my other grandpa fought in Korea. they both have passed away and I would like to say that they have made a huge impact on me in one way or another
