Here's a good tip for everyone. When peeling tape off of an old tree trimmer put down the steak knife before you pull on the tape.
I wish I would have known this before this afternoon. To make a long story short the tape broke and I stabbed myself in the chin. The blade went in an inch and a half. But after 5 hours in the ER and some super glue I'm on my way to recovery. The ER doc wanted to glue it all back together so I figured what the heck let's do the glue instead of stitches.

I was using the knife to cut the tape and instead of putting it down to pull the tape off I kept it in my hand.

also when cutting rope, make sure the blade is away from you....

I was cutting a piece of rope off of our round pin(where we rode/trained horses) and I had was pulling it through and trying to untangle it....and I slit my thumb open...I looked at it...said screw it and kept working....have a scar from it too
